A CPD Officer Commits Suicide And Chicago Erupts With Riots Again Saturday

My heart goes out to the Chicago Police Department and its members. They have suffered multiple tragedies this year alone. Last night, a CPD Officer killed himself. PTSD is real, and many Officers have to deal with the stress because of the changes in police work and lack of support.

My thoughts and prayers are with men and women who everyday put on the uniform to risk their lives to protect our neighborhoods. There is a war on the Police happening right now. Violent thugs are targeting our officers on and off-duty.

Just last night, hundreds of thugs invaded downtown Chicago, obstructing traffic then breaking into businesses and Millennium Park. They shot two people on the very sidewalks visitors from other states come to walk on to admire the downtown scene. All they were left with to see now were animals jumping on cars and attacking our proud Police.

The streets of Chicago are being taken over by violent criminals who do not fear the Police, prosecutors, or the judges because the city became a testing ground for a social activist's agenda. This started with Mayor Lori Lightfoot and Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx who was supported with funding by George Soros who wanted to relax arrests and criminal prosecutions of violent offenders.

They cried these criminals were victims of society and deserved second chances, including those that were arrested for murder. They complained they could not afford bail. This led to the creation of Bill HB3653, which criminalizes the Police and gives a pass to the criminals. This bill was a slap in the face to every Cop in the city.

Because of this bill, after January, thousands of murderers and violent offenders were released back into the streets. If they fail to appear in court, they will be served with a summons to appear instead of a warrant to be placed under arrest to see a judge. Police will no longer have the authority to arrest criminals for most offenses, instead because of this bill they will be issued a ticket.

Just this week CPD recommended the firing of a brave Police Officer for killing a gangmember that pointed a gun at him. The shooting was justified but the city wanted blood. A White Police Officers blood.

Our prosecutors and courts have already failed us, and today it's only going to get worse. The Safe-T act that's in effect will place officers' lives in danger because there will no longer be penalties to attacking our Police. Currently, if a criminal that is in possession of a gun or drugs can no longer be pursued, let alone be arrested in Chicago. Police officer's hands are tied because of the politicians!

I am calling out the “leaders” that created this anti-Police agenda. I'm calling out Lori Lightfoot and Kim Fox for creating this atmosphere that criminalizes the Police. Brandon Johnson will be much worse.

It's time that we rise and fight back against the anti-Police agenda created by the Democrats. It's time we run real Republicans for office in 2024. Let us do this by participating this time instead of watching from the sidelines. At 20% voter turnout this past election, you know I'm talking to you. The so-called “Patriots” that stayed home and not voted, let alone knocked on one door for a candidate or even donated a dollar.

We need to create stricter laws and build more jails. It's not a time for second chances, but more jail time. It's about saving innocent lives and protecting our brave Police Officers.

We need to create more funding to challenge the drug cartels using Chicago as a hub for their operations. Illinois in 2022 had 300 overdose deaths, twice the number of homicides deaths in Illinois alone. Furthermore, paramedics responded to over 20,000 ambulance calls statewide that year as well.

We have to curb the flow of illegal guns that are falling into the hands of the carjackers. 630 of the homicides in Illinois in 2022 were committed in Chicago. The rest of Illinois combined had only 553 homicides. If you were killed in Chicago right now the murderer has a 75% of getting away with murder. The cold case homicides stacking in Chicago are in the thousands never to be solved.

Chicago is out-of-control thanks to the Democratic agenda of second chances for violent felons! But yet they voted for Brandon Johnson who hates the Police. Vallas wasn't much better. The Republican Party failed by not producing one candidate yet the Democrats produced nine!

PATHETIC Chicago and Illinois GOP!

Never have I ever seen people not applying to become the Police. My friend, the Sheriff of DuPage County James Mendrick explained to me in a phone call that people aren't applying in the numbers they had ten years ago. Now he's relying on lateral hires from other agencies. Most of those officers are coming from Chicago!

NOW Chicago retirees are going to feel the effects of liberal mismanagement.

The CPD pension fund reported to the Department of Insurance that they are only 20% funded. The economy can crash at anytime and the fund can collapse due to two reasons.

Hedge fund pension investments with fail with a market crash preventing return funding to the pension fund.

Over 500 CPD Officers will retire this year alone, eating up pension payments, then there is a deficit of 1,500 Officers not paying into the fund accounting retirees and shortage of the rank and file.

Are you proud of the professional unions now? They are a joke!

Now the new Mayor Brandon Johnson, wants to hire social workers instead of Cops. When that happens, the social workers will be calling the REAL Police to bail them out of calls going bad.

Guess what? 200 Officers are now becoming Detectives, meaning less beat cops! You can't make this up!

If you are a Cop, it's time to retire or relocate. Chicago doesn't care about you. Your next superintendent will be worse than Brown. It will be worse.

It's time to get out now before the summer of riots begins.
