Brian Pohlman - Minooka CCSD 201
I'm running because I have three daughters in the district so I have deep, vested interest in their academic success. I want to ensure all students are receiving a high quality education that gives them the skills they need to prepare them for their career and become upstanding members in their community. As a voice for the community, I want to ensure all students, parents, and stakeholders have their concerns heard and needs addressed and met. I want to see the focus of the schools strictly on academics. It is the responsibility of the parents to instill their values and beliefs in their children. There is no valid reason to inject a political or social agenda into the curriculum. This only seeks to create division within the community. Overall, my focus lies in the best interest and well being of the students in order to see them reach their academic potential.
