Grassroots Candidates To Overcome GOP General Assembly Membership In 2024 Primaries
If Jesus were alive today, he would have been Grassroots. Allow me to explain. It's 30 AD and after years of being a carpenter trained by his earthly father, Jesus began his trek to serve the people. You know the complete story, the Old Testament predicted his coming. He was born the King of the Jews, but not in a palace but a stable full of animals in Bethlehem.
Before his birth, an Angel appeared before Mary, anointing her with the promise that she would give birth to the Son of God. You see, going back to the days of Abraham, if you sinned, you would sacrifice a lamb to cleanse your sins before the Lord. Jesus's coming to earth meant he would be the lamb of God so later, when he would give his life on the cross, he would cleanse mankind with his blood for those who would accept that he indeed was Christ, the Son of God and those that trusted him to be their savior washing away their sins would be saved for eternity. I'm born again and saved since I was 13 years old.
So, as a young man just out of his twenties, Jesus began his trek through Israel to be among his fellow Jews, the original Grassroots. It wasn't just a calling to serve. It was predicted thousands of years ago that he would save mankind, but first he had to get the confidence of the people.
First ever so humble Jesus was baptized by his cousin, John the Baptist (Luke 1:36) in the Jordan River to receive his father God's anointing. Jesus was blessed and baptized, then to his mission to the people to preach the Gospel.
Like Jesus, there are many Grassroots candidates that are humble and are from humble beginnings. They are not rich or born into money or even political dynasties. These individuals are maybe even carpenters like Jesus. They work blue-collar jobs, working paycheck to paycheck. Many have felt the pain of this economy and are going without. No more trips to even a local carnival with the kids because there just isn't enough money to even pay the mortgage.
These Patriots see no hope in sight because they were constantly let down by politicians they voted into office to make changes. They were let down by Democrat and Republican alike. In 2016, a movement came about with Donald Trump running for President. This movement became a machine, and soon they knew that this Grassroots leader, Trump, would Make America Great Again. Trump became President, which led to an American awakening.
Then came the steal in 2020. Biden took office as President, which led to the downfall of this country. The pain we are feeling right now. The people, especially the Grassroots, wanted a solution to fix this crisis. To fix our economy. To take back our state and country. So, single stay at-home mothers, plumbers, teachers, and Police Officers came out to run for office.
They have no money, but they are sincere and love their country. So they took their mission to the people. Just like Jesus. To gain the confidence and support of the people that are thirsty and in need of help. A way out.
Returning to Jesus, he preached to the masses. He healed the blind, to bring back their eyesight. He brought back the dead back to life. Likewise, he cured the lepers and much more. The people loved this man, Jesus, the King of the Jews, who wore no crown but dressed, liked them and was so humble to wash their feet.
Jesus developed a following, soon assembling twelve disciples. Why did they follow this man Jesus? They followed him because he was a man with a heart. They had faith in him because of his plan to save humanity. Impressed they were that when he visited the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, he threw out the money changers, flipping their tables in anger. Then he challenged the Jewish High Priests, the equivalent of the Republican establishment. He challenged their leadership and how they sold out to Roman Rule and Ceaser.
Chief among them was King Herod, the King of the Jews, who attempted to take Jesus' life as a newborn. This mighty king and his High Priests sold out the Nation of Israel to Rome for power and a few shekels.
Soon Jesus was identified and targeted by the High Priests, and they plotted against him. For who is this Grassroots leader that is so loved among the people? Why is he making plans to change our form of government and leadership, claiming he is the King of the Jews? He is not royalty. He lays claim to no land or riches. Then comes this King of the Jews riding into the gates of Jerusalem on a donkey?
Later, for 30 pieces of Silver, Judas betrayed Jesus. He was captured and accused of false charges, and tortured for days. Jesus was made to carry the cross to Golgotha the “Place of the Skull” to be crucified. On Calvary, he died between two criminals, one of whom joined him in paradise. He pleaded before he passed, "Father, why have you forsaken me?” Why did Jesus do all this? To give his life?
It was a service. It was a calling. It was something that was beyond him, and he was not selfish. Do you remember when Jesus wandered the desert, tempted by the devil with kingdoms and riches? He was never tempted for a second.
You see today's Grassroots candidates fall in line with these principles that Jesus has. They are humble and want to serve the people for the greater mission of change. They want what's best for their communities, state and country. Furthermore, they have no desire for money or power. They just want an opportunity to serve and to be the voice of their constituents.
Now come the Pharisees, the High Priests of the Republican Party. When I say the Republican Party, there are actually two factions. The State Party, which is controlled by the Chairman of the Illinois Republican State Central Committee comprising 17 State Central Committee members and the board consisting of directors and deputy Committeeman.
The other faction comprises the Republican members of the State General Assembly. This consists of the Senate Caucus (SRO) and the House Caucus (HRO).
Believe it or not, for the past 5 months the state Republican Party has been stepping up to becoming a Grassroots organization. Chairman Don Tracy authorized the creation of a statewide Grassroots Task Force to do just that. Many changes among the party have been made to work with the Grassroots organizations. Promises were made not to intervene in primaries as well.
Then came the GOP Caucuses in the General Assembly playing their games just recently challenging Grassroots candidates.
The two unlucky gems that are leading this establishment initiative are two rookie non-campaigners that came from two losing campaigns in 2022. Jon Nelson the protege of Nick McNeely (SRO) in the Senate side that came from working Irvin's failed race for Governor and Joe Eposito, (HRO) on the House side that replaced Jayme Odum. Eposito, just got off Demmers failed race. These are both proven losers that couldn't campaign their way out of a wet paper bag that are leading the General Assembly to victory? It's the blind leading the blind. Two children!
Who hires these people? For the low pay they are working I guess the HRO/SRO are getting their money's worth. General Assembly welfare I guess…. Lol
It reminds me of lawyers that can't hack it as hustling private practice lawyers making money that they resort to working as States Attorneys for poor pay and benefits. These two jokers couldn't make it as legitimate political operatives or campaign managers.
"Those who can, do; those who can't, teach" Haha
Remember, you come after me and I'll come after you. Our great President Donald J. Trump made that statement a few weeks ago and he meant it as I!
Yesterday, I wrote a story that had an impact statewide. Was I honest? 100% I was blunt? 100% Was I rude? 100% and for the rudeness I apologize if I offended anyone, but I will never retract my story because it had to be said.
I laid out proof that these Judas Iscariot's, Pharisees, made plans to primary genuine Grassroots candidates for Illinois House and Senate with establishment type, pro-abortion candidates. They are anti-parent, anti-Trump, liberal union money grabbing choice candidates for the High Priests of the SRO and HRO.
So what is to be done? It's time we fight back by going after them . If these candidates choose to continue their course of action by running, well that will be their downfall and the end of their political career. It's their choice.
The tragic situation is that the SRO and HRO are making promises to "back" them. With what? Both "victory" funds are broke, and what cash they have left will be to defend their Caucus members who are in a fight for their lives in primaries. This means selected HRO and SRO candidates will be abandoned like orphans for the political operatives to come after in their respective campaigns.
There is no such thing as a clean race. It's politics, remember? It's about the win!
Rep. Tim Ozinga just quit his post as Chairman of the HRO, the campaign arm of the House Republicans. He had enough with the politics and I wonder why? He was replaced by Rep. Ryan Spain, who is today running for Senate. He has no time to lead or raise money. So what then?
The High Priest and High Priestess, John Curran and Tony McCombie have no plans to share their committee wealth. Since Ken Griffin has left they are struggling to raise any money at all!
So with no help coming from the Pharisees these candidates will be on their own. As a matter of fact, any sitting GOP member of the General Assembly is at risk as well because there just isn't enough money to play defense. As you see, GOP members are already jumping ship quitting in droves. The most recent is Sen. Win Stoller who gave up for greener pastures.
What is to be done now?
Simple. It's the Grassroots vs. the SRO/HRO candidates. Who do you think will win? I can write that answer on a wall right today and it's unforgiving.
Finally, I was attacked by a Policy Institute for sharing my beliefs in my article yesterday. This is America and I'm a legitimate investigative columnist but I'm also a minority business owner. Is it the policy of this certain institute to attack Mexican business owners?
Was it because I criticized them for hiring Paul Vallas a pro-abortion, liberal Democrat, to influence races.
Through transparency I write and report these things to expose corruption but now I, a minority business owner, is a subject of attack. Maybe the fact that this certain email is slander or defaming character. Maybe a TRO should be in order or minority Chambers of Commerce organizations that I sit on boards with should get involved to come to my defense. An attack against one is an attack against all like NATO’s Article 5 of collective defense.
Very puzzling that they encourage these actions on behalf of a man child political director. As a former President of a minority Chamber of Commerce I take offense to this action after I supported this Policy Institute for years or did they just become a competitor?
Maybe they became Pharisees like the SRO and HRO? There is still hope for them though I'm not too worried.
It is best for us to defeat the Democrats instead of attacking fellow Republicans. Let's face it, if you are GOP there is no "we". Everyone is in it for themselves. Until we break this cycle we will continue to lose races in this state and country. It's time we join together in solidarity with unity and for those that don't want to join us in this mission… .well you can become a Democrat. For us Grassroots fighters we will fight to win races!
Thank you and God Bless!
