Is The Desantis Visit An Indication Of A Presidential Run For President?

Yesterday Republican Governor Ron Desantis made a historic visit to Illinois. Initially it was advertised as a Chicago Police only event. For security reasons the location was not advertised until 48 hours before the event. The venue was eventually opened to members of the Republican party. Anti-Desantis protestors line the streets to protest the Governor labeling him "Baby Hitler" as always these groups make their appearance to spew their hate.
The organizer for the Illinois Desantis visit was NOT the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 7. As a matter of fact John Catanzera the President of the Chicago Police Union is not even in the state but out west. It was actually a Desantis connected 501c3 that is probing a Presidential run for Desantis. The group that is sanctioned by Desantis and his advisors are touring the U.S. on a “Back the Blue” tour to open the door for his national exposure to become a presidential contender.
The group reached out to the lodge and other state-affiliated FOP groups to gather an audience. The event gathered 250 Republicans and Police Officers in Elmhurst. It was later closed off to any more attendees because of being over capacity at this small venue. Sheriff James Mendrick attended as a special guest along with Rep. Darren Lahood of the 16th District who helped host.
Who are the organizers?
The non-for-profit group is “And to the Republic ''. Unlike a PAC, they can receive unlimited amounts of donations and use the cash to support any agenda they may have. Because of IRS guidelines being a 501c3 they cannot endorse a political candidate. However like many other 501c3s they can create the appearance of just that.
Corporate records in Michigan show that the new group, which has also launched a bare-bones website, formed on Jan. 30.
The outfit is overseen by Tori Sachs, a Michigan-based Republican strategist who has been a longtime advisor to GOP Rep. John James. Sachs has also worked for several conservative issue advocacy groups, including Michigan Freedom Fund and Michigan Rising Action.
James, is the newly elected Congressman from Michigan's 10th Congressional District. In March 2022. Trump gave him an endorsement guaranteeing him a win. After his victory, James went on the attack on Trump and challenged his leadership.
But when Trump recently said parts of the Constitution should be disregarded, James became a harsh critic of the former president. James failed to understand the content of Trump's statement . Instead, he waged a vicious attack on the very one that put him in office.
“A man who would suspend the Constitution can’t be trusted,” said James. “Anyone who will put their egos over people is not fit to lead.” James went on to say that the Constitution is bigger than any one person in the country.
He also said that Joe Biden was legally elected president. Imagine that. One minute, James received support and an endorsement from Trump, then he praises Joe Biden for stealing the presidency.
The leader of this new organization, Sachs, was responsible for James turning his back on Trump to garner support for Desantis. Well, Senator Darren Bailey, the true leader of the Illinois GOP drove in to attend the event to see Desantis. As you recall Bailey who ran for Illinois Governor was endorsed by President Trump. It has been reported that Sachs treated Bailey as a person non grata because of his friendship with Trump. Bailey never even got a picture with Desantis. Any friend of Trump is no friend to the Desantis presidential campaign according to Sachs the organizer.
Those briefed on "And to the Republic’s” plans say it is expected to hold additional events across America supporting DeSantis. The person familiar with the organization said it would be “announcing events for the future in the coming weeks and months.” An Eventbrite page lists the group as the host of an upcoming event for the governor in North Venice, Fla.
DeSantis is taking steps to raise his national visibility ahead of a likely presidential bid. Next week, he is launching a new book, “The Courage to be Free: Florida’s Blueprint for America’s Revival.” And later this week, DeSantis is hosting a three-day donor retreat at the Four Seasons Palm Beach, which is expected to draw around 150 supporters.
Should he enter the race for the White House, DeSantis would start as the leading GOP rival to former President Donald Trump — who has in turn derided the governor on social media as “disloyal,” “Meatball Ron” and “Ron DeSanctimonious.”
Just this week, it was revealed that George Soros is pushing for Desantis to run against Trump. Soros wouldn't blink, investing 500 billion to do so to create a divide in the party to set a loss in the general like what happened in Illinois.
The Democrats plan is to push Desantis to run for President. Along with Soros, they will invest billions of dollars in ads to set Desantis as the nominee only to take him out in the general.
If Desantis were to win the primary, he would only alienate many loyal Trump supporters, 81 million of them who would not vote for him in the general election in November 2024.
Desantis has also been stirring up controversy. In one case, it was documented in photos and with witness statements that he drank and partied with his underage students as a teacher.
Also, Desantis set up a roundtable recently praising a lawyer Libby Locke that represents Dominion and defended fraudulent election activity that fought Trump in court, labeling Trump Lawyer a "conspiracy theorist." Desantis has aligned himself with Dominion and Locke.
DeSantis said Locke was “an extraordinaire when it comes to First Amendment defamation.” What he didn’t say is that Locke is now representing Dominion Voting Systems, which is currently suing key Trump world figures—like Rudy Giuliani and My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell—for pushing bogus claims that the company’s technology somehow stole the 2020 election from Trump.
Trump, who announced his presidency in November 2022, is facing a challenge by the Senate Republicans and the RNC. Ronna McDaniel, the Chairman has been privately courting Desantis and his advisors to run against Trump. Their logic is that he can sway the Trump supporters to support his run and have Trump bow out.
Trump has openly challenged Desantis to run for an eventual loss. Trump is currently polling at the high 50s and Desantis is polling at the low 20s. One thing that Trump has that Desantis has yet to have is a large faithful following. Trump can demand a rally of 30,000 people like his visit to Illinois in June 2022.
Desantis barely filled a room with 250 at the Knights of Hall yesterday. You do the math on who would win the GOP primary.
In order for the GOP to win back the White House we need a set strategy. Unfortunately we have yet to learn in history from amateur political consultants that push candidates to run only to set them up for a huge loss. Meanwhile these strategists are collecting a big paycheck no matter whatever the results are.
Trump is the only qualified candidate that is proven in the world stage that has served as a President. Desantis has never been one. Trump has led this nation forward economically and securing our countries financial assets and protecting us against Russia, China, Korea and Iran. Projecting national security abroad.
Trump only has one term to serve legally according to the constitution. As a party we have to unify for Trump and his message of America First.
It's no surprise where my loyalties lie. I believe in Trump and the vast majority of Republicans do as well. I believe Desantis to be a good man. However in politics there tends to be advisors feeding good men bad advice.
I get it. Desantis is a veteran military officer. A lawyer. And many find him to be attractive and looks like a movie actor. A great looking guy with appeal. He is doing a great job as Governor of Florida fighting the liberal agenda and getting things done. Many in the party see him carrying the torch of MAGA into the next generation because after all Trump won't be with us forever.
In the meantime Desantis has to let Trump run. Desantis is young and in no hurry. He was just re-elected and has even stated there is much to get done in Florida under his watch. If he decides to continue taking his advisors advice and run for President then you will have a very dirty campaign which the Democrats, Biden and especially Soros want so that they can continue having control of the White House.
Speaking of Soros, Vivek Ramaswamy just announced he's running for President. A proclaimed Conservative of Indian decent like Nikki Haley who also just her run for the presidency Ramaswamy is no Republican. Don't let him fool you. He is a lifelong employee and friend of no other than George Soros. You can't make this up. Just Google his name and add Soros to it and you will find his resume working for this deep state globalist.
The Democrats know that Trump is a threat. They are going to throw everything they have at this election to keep the White House and the Senate. We are close to taking our country back but it begins with common sense.
We all want what's best for our the people, party and country but it starts with sacrifices. I hope in time Desantis and his supporters see just that before it's too late.
Trump is the choice for the Republican Party to take back the White House in 2024. Just like Trump, Desantis has an opportunity for greatness. He has the potential to even become a President. It starts with strategic moves that he makes and not following the bad advice of his advisors that are setting him up for failure. The world is a dangerous right now. We need great leaders in the right places to make a difference. Let us see what happens in due time.
