John Booras, A Profile Of Courage. Grassroots Candidates In Illinois Are Rising To Save Our State And Our Country.
Years from now, our children in this Country will look back to this generation for making genuine true change. The change that I am talking about is in 2024. After being defeated time and time again since the 2020 and 2022 elections, the Republican Party has rediscovered itself. But was it the Party itself or the PEOPLE? After the failures delivered to us by poor strategies that delivered political wins to the liberal Democrats, the Conservative movement was defeated. The Democrats laughed at us in their victories. However is the overall mission over? Not yet!
A testimony of this was the 2022 elections in Illinois when in the general midterms election was only 20% of Republicans that came out to vote on a falsely advertised “Red Wave".
We can continue to place blame all day on others or the party itself, but who is to offer a solution? Who has the answers to win again. I do.
In the course of 11 months, many Grassroots Republican candidates heard the call of service. They decided to step aside from their normal routines that included their families and jobs. Many of these candidates that decided to run were ones that were not even expected to enter public service. Plumbers, nurses,construction workers, even stay at-home mothers.
Like many of you, they became upset with the state and country it is in. America itself is under attack. The economy is collapsing. We are faced with two world wars and a third coming soon with China. Crime is out of control and this nation is bankrupt. We can't even afford to feed our children, yet we provide billions of dollars to other nations that laugh at us everyday.
America has always been the land of dreams and a pillar of light, but that candle has burnt out. Americans are looking for a plan to rediscover themselves to not only win, but to survive. That is why these Grassroots candidates are stepping up because they have felt this pain personally.
I want to introduce you to a gentleman who approached me about serving and running for office. This man's name is John Booras, a former Police Officer and a lawyer. He approached me explaining that he could no longer sit on the sidelines as a husband and father knowing this nation is coming into ruins.
I myself am a father and I can see through his eyes what's is talking about. I myself, wants to provide a better life for all my immediate family, giving them a future that they rightfully deserve. Happiness.
John was compassionate, explaining that as a Police Officer, he knew first hand of service. Saving lives and helping others. This man has seen the evil of this world first hand, and yet, he continued to serve. Yet, he wants to serve again.
Here is his story:
"My name is John Booras, I'm a Republican and I'm running for Congress. The reason I'm running is because as an American I became frustrated with the direction our country was moving in a wrong direction . Since the Democrats took control we are entering a super recession. You see for yourself the cost of inflation. Prices are rising from the cost of goods, food and fuel. Many are seeking relief with no help in sight. What happened to Biden's Build Back Better and his promises of better jobs and economic opportunity? On his first day as President he shut down the pipelines putting 30,000 union workers out of work that day. Another 70,000 energy union jobs have been lost since. Builders are out of work because of the price of lumber. It costs $40,000 more a home because of the rise of prices in building materials. America is 500,000 short in new homes in the real estate market. People are resorting to renting now. Banks are buying homes to target the market for rentals instead of building.
What can be done? I'm running for Congress because I'm fed up just like you. I know first hand the results of the market. I have solutions to the problem and it starts with a plan to bring back industry. For too long Biden and the Democrats have overtaxed and over regulated business. Why should it be ok to pay $100,000 in real estate taxes in a year? The reason businesses are fleeing to China is because of the bottom line. Survival. Meanwhile hundreds of thousands of American workers are standing in the unemployment line. Many Americans have fallen into bankruptcy in record numbers. Banks are refusing to lend or hold mortgages and local businesses are shutting their doors because they cannot even pay their employees. My plan will be to entice business and start flowing American made products into the market. More business means more jobs. More business means more industry to build and make products for the American economy!
Illinois is the most dangerous state in the country. In 2022 Cook County had more than 1,000 homicides. Violent crime is out of control. High jackings are on the rise, drugs and shootings are out of control. The criminals declared war on the Police. They are targeting Police Officers everyday. Yet our elected officials are giving them a free pass when they are arrested. Many are arrested for homicides, shooting and sexual abuse just to have their charges dropped because of lack of evidence because of social activist prosecutors and judges ideas too give these violent criminals a second chance in hoping of reforming them. This stops now. We need to clean up Chicago and the rest of the state and the nation. No parent should ever have to bury their child. It's about prevention versus intervention. We need to educate our children of the dangers of drugs, gangs and violence. We need to hire more Police and support the job they are doing to protect us.
I have a plan to restore and rebuild our great nation. To advocate for the forgotten ones. A single mother's struggle everyday to feed and protect their children. As a married parent of three young children I understand having to love and feed our kids. That is why I'll provide free trade training to give them a chance to work from home with job placement. This is the age of cyber technology where they can learn how to code from home and work from home to continue to care for their children. A single parent should no longer have to struggle to make ends meet in the middle of the month or scrape and save just to buy her kids clothes and shoes. I want to give single parents a chance so they no longer have their family starve with government handouts. I want them to become self-sufficient and become homeowners with the ability to put their children in private schools and eventually college. This can be done by putting Americans First instead of paying off other nations debts.
My plan includes:
More help for our seniors including vouchers and better healthcare.
Right to try. For health cures to save lives.
Better care for our veterans including addressing their mental health and eliminating homelessness. To provide better education and jobs.
Youth and parental training to prevent violence.
Fighting the drug cartels to curb overdoses, drug abuse and violence.
Combatting the gangs and violent criminals.
Fight for hardened penalties for convicted violent felons.
Expand cyber investigations combating human trafficking.
More grants to entice American Business.
More jobs for American workers, not other countries.
Protecting our pensions and investments.
A stronger military.
A stronger border presence and increased penalties for illegal immigration.
School vouchers for private schools.
Daycare vouchers for single parents so they can work.
Hire more federal agents to combat violent crime and to close homicide cases.
Better infrastructure building better roads and bridges.
Cutting foreign AIDS and military funding to other Countries
Better and affordable healthcare including for small business owners.
Parental rights and school choice.
Put Americans First before anyone else!"
For those of you that call elections by results of the past, and they cannot be won by suggestions of armchair political consultants, let me remind you of this. Mountains can be conquered by man. Mount Everest is a testimony to this.
Winners never quit. They never give up. You may want to quit and want to go home after being a failure a few times and things never turned out your way. Then there is the 2% of this nation that decided, no matter what the costs we will choose to fight and regardless of what pain is delivered to them, they will win.
Men are only defined in what they are willing to sacrifice to make this happen.
Just ask my dear friend Darren Bailey who ran for Illinois Governor. He decided to challenge the liberal political beast identified as J. B. Pritzker. In the course of running, he needed help. He then called out Stephanie Trussell to do just that as his Lt. Governor running mate and together to fight for the PEOPLE!
They entered this battle together, facing this terrible Governor just to save Illinois, only to be interrupted by a primary. With no money but a plan, they decided to let the people decide between themselves and a liberal outsider.
Choose a Democrat playing Republican with 50 million dollars behind him, or choose a Grassroots movement from the heart.
In the 2022 Republican primary, both Bailey and Trussell proved just that. They didn't run to try to win but to win and deliver. Meanwhile, this 50 million dollar candidate came in fourth, delivering a testimony of David vs. Goliath in Illinois.
For those naysayers that don't believe in winning, let me remind you of this story.
Let's look at the USA Olympic hockey team in the 80s under the direction of Coach Herb Brooks. This Russian team they faced in the Olympics were professional soldier hockey players. They were beasts and UNDEFEATED around the world.
“Miracle" A movie and example of never quitting for America!
Yet, all the United States had to offer were a bunch of skinny American kids that had the heart to win under the leadership of a coach with the necessary strategies to win the won. They won the gold, making history.
Later, Disney made a movie called “Miracle”. Like the movie Americans, are a nation of miracles.
Are you in love with the USA or in like with the USA? John Booras doesn't like this country, but loves this country. He stands with his fellow Grassroots Republicans in defense of our Conservative causes standing in defense of our Constitution.
They stand strong together, knowing the fight that is coming their way. It may not be easy, but miracles happen not by expecting it but by fighting for it.
They represent the People and the United States of America, and they are prepared to fight, no matter how tired they get to do just that.
We fight for the United States of America and this great State of Illinois, but not for ourselves but our children.
