Moving Forward: God, Elections, Grassroots, America And Trump!
Val Ojeda, Editor of The Illinois Republican
The 2024 primary is over. We all worked so hard to promote quality Conservative Grassroots candidates to save our great state of Illinois and our beautiful nation, America.
I want to thank the many candidates that made the ballot and ran to serve their communities in service of our conservative principles and Republican ideologies promoting the protection of the Constitution and the liberties afforded to us by the founding fathers, such as the freedom of speech, 2A and the right to be protected from unnecessary governmental control.
Many won the primary and are now moving on to the general election to face off against the evil Democrats. I praise many that won their races, except for a chosen few. For those candidates that ran in the GOP primaries and did not quite get there, I CONGRATULATE you as well because you worked equally hard and maybe much harder. A victory was won by others, but do not count yourself out. The battles are to continue and the war is not over. Even the greatest basketball player of all time, Michael Jordan lost games, yet he pushed forward.
That's what winners do. They never quit. It's just an opportunity to learn from not mistakes, but to find a winning plan to move forward for genuine success.
The path of a winning spirit only belongs to those that have been broken and continue to fight. Like the father working two or three jobs to support his wife and family. This man may be broken and tired. He has no choice but to live up to his standard. His family looks at him as a strong man and as a pillar of strength, but deep down he questions himself. He questions his well-being. He becomes weak. Yet, he remembers his love for his family. His beautiful wife and children, then he gets back to work every morning for a purpose. He fights not for himself, but for the people he loves.
That's why these candidates fight. For the people. Their communities, the state and this great nation. To ease the pain of the forgotten ones and to make genuine change.
This past year, like that father as I mentioned, I questioned my worth. After non-stop political campaigning across the country for 7 years I believed it was time to hang up my hat. Since I was 13 years old, I've worked jobs. I've had multiple careers and then fell into politics, which drove me to walk away from my family, businesses and life to serve my country and Trump. I have zero regrets. None whatsoever.
I examined what I truly wanted for myself if I just quit serving. To actually retire in peace. I then asked myself why would I do this? For individual happiness? To be happy in the future? Then I reminded myself I've always been happy. The reason I was happy was to be useful. To help others. To help those that need help. The poor. The disenfranchised. The ones that were forgotten. I've helped thousands of lives in my career. Now I want to quit being useful?
Being happy is to spoil yourself, but when will that self gratification end? I want to be useful. I want to get married to a beautiful woman who loves me and if God allows me to have more children, so I can love them and be useful to them. To have a home full of love and while under my watch they would never have to worry about a thing for the rest of their lives because being useful as I am, I'll take care of business financially and emotionally. I even look forward to having grandchildren soon, so I can play with and babysit them and share my lifetime stories with them.
I want to continue to be useful and let my happiness fall into place doing just that.
As politicians and servants of the people, we have to have that state of mind.
My dear friend Sen. Darren Bailey that ran for Illinois Governor and then for Congress just recently served and he lost both. Those were different circumstances. But do you think for one second he is down for the count? Nope, he wants to be useful. The United States Senate race is around the corner and that's up for grabs and my bet with God's will, he may become our next United States Senator with the trends playing up in his favor, and I'll support him like many of you Grassroots Republicans. I hope he makes plans to do so. I'll support him.
Bailey is a Christian with beliefs that I'm familiar with. We love our God and only God, not politics. He's a staunch Patriot and a supporter of President Trump. Bailey fights for the babies, 2A, parental rights, the veterans, and police. His heart is for the farmers, single parents and those who suffer every single day under this broken economy. Bailey wants to be useful and even sacrificing his treasure and family time to do so. He's a great man and let's continue to pray for his leadership!
Crystal Loughran who ran for Illinois House in the 76 district, did the same thing. A Christian woman and school teacher, she did the deed to serve. She didn't do it for the money, but for service. Her husband Mike and her best friend Terri are her biggest fans and supporters that worked hard on her campaign. Though the results never favored her like Bailey, do you think for one-second her service was ended Tuesday night? Never. The first chapter of her political service has yet to be written. There is much work to do, and she is ready to do the work to save our state and country. I'm glad to have her as a dear friend and as a sister in Christ. She is making some moves to continue to serve!
Tuesday there were reports of the lowest voter turnout in Illinois history. I witnessed this personally. Then what happened?
I'll be reporting soon about this starting Monday. As you know, besides being the editor of The Illinois Republican and a writer, I'm a GOP consultant and an advisor to Republican races. I had to take time off of writing to focus on campaigning for a while. Now I'm back! I'm going to weaponize those publications, writing columns and investigative stories several times a week to fight against the Democrat machine and to promote Trump and Grassroots campaigns to win 2024.
I'm also want to announce a partnership that I made with businessman James Mason, the Donald Trump of central Illinois, to develop a news organization on television to bring true conservative news in the Chicago Metro market with a big news partner.
James is a true Trump supporting conservative Republican also with a purpose to be useful. He's a great mind but a political lion that you can hear on his radio show the "Inconvenient Truth" Thursday mornings at WLBK AM360/FM 98.9 If I had only three other James Masons like him I could invade and take over a country. This guy is non stop like Trump!
Now to continue to other business. Our Podcast is back online starting Tuesday with bigtime guests. It's time to go nationwide. We cannot do this alone. We need to come together as conservative organizations, especially the news.
First, I want to praise the true publication, Illinois Review, the premier Illinois Conservative publication that has captured the minds of Conservatives in the course of decades. I respect, and I will promote the publication team of the fine news organization. They are doing amazing things and will continue to do so with their fine investigative journalism, keeping the GOP honest.
Like Illinois Review, The Illinois Republican will do the same differently. It is time to export honesty, and it's time to fight for the Grassroots, but this time it will be different, as you shall see soon.
All of us true conservatives will work hard to Make Illinois Great Again but with different plans to make that happen, learning not from mistakes but learning new ways to succeed and win for you the people with dangerous methods to do just so.
Big story coming up Monday, but until then, God bless you!
