When you thought things couldn't get any worse in Illinois with Republicans selling out and becoming RINOs I give you this….
Let's visit DuPage County. At one time, Dupage was as Republican red, but many Republicans were called to the dark side. Instead of becoming Democrats, they stayed Republicans but embrace liberal idealism. So, the county became blue. There was no fight left, with the exception of a very few.
One by one, these Republicans became RINOs. Many Conservatives in Dupage identified these politicians as political hacks and refused to support them anymore.
Case in point was Greg Hart. Hart ran as a Republican in the Republican primary against Pete Dicianni for DuPage County Chairman, replacing Dan Cronin. Dicianni was outed early himself as working with Democrats, even having ties with the Chicago mob. Multiple news sources reported this.
So, Hart won the primary against Dicianni in June 2022, then the very next week he sent out advertisements including text blasts and mailers that he was an “independent” and was pro-abortion. Another sellout!
Let's fast-forward to November. It's the midterm elections, and Democrat Deb Conroy won the election and was elected the new DuPage County Chairwoman.
After being sworn in, Deb Conroy immediately went on the attack, going after Sheriff James Mendrick for his stance on the AR gun ban. At one point she wanted to censure him, but she later withdrew her threat.
Because of her attack, I began an investigation into her life and finances. My investigators, who are former homicide detectives, discovered the house that Deb Conroy is living in is owned by none other by......... REPUBLICAN Pete Dicianni!
Oh, can that be, you say? A Republican challenging DEMOCRAT Conroy is running against his tenant? I swear, you can't make this up!
The address that Deb Conroy has on her driver's license shows residence at the house owned by Pete Dicianni and his sister, a real estate agent.
I wonder if Deb Conroy reported that in a D2 to the state. My question is: How much she's paying rent? A dollar? Who's paying who, I ask?
Was Dicianni running just to take the fall for a Conroy win for government contracts for his printing and media business?
So now this story takes another interesting turn.
Fellow DuPage County Board Member Republican Sam Tornatore recently donated $1,000 to Conroy. Did you hear me?
REPUBLICAN Tornatore donated $1,000 on March 29th, 2023.
This donation, which Tornatore Law Office gave $1,000 to the campaign committee, was revealed in the “Friends of Deborah Conroy” D-2 Quarterly Report.
Tornatore also serves as the Vice Chair of the Bloomingdale Township Republicans. That's right. This RINO that donated $1,000.00 to the enemy is leading a DuPage County Republican Organization!
Now, is Tornatore trying to buy influence on the DuPage County Board?
Let's see!
He is chair of the county’s Development committee and vice chair of the Transportation Committee. Tornatore also belongs to the Finance Committee, Judicial and Public Safety Committee, Public Works Committee, Stormwater Committee and Ad-Hoc Collective Bargaining Committee.
He was previously a trustee for Roselle and Bloomingdale, Board Member and Secretary for the Illinois Housing Development Authority and Member and President of the DuPage County Health Department Board of Health.
In addition to serving on the DuPage County Board, Tornatore runs Tornatore Law Office, the entity that provided the campaign donation, which is noted as the “Bloomingdale Village Prosecutor according to the Dupage County Journal.
Now I ask you. Is this a power play, or is it because he is a sellout? I say both. Because this is how it starts. A Republican runs for office with good intentions, than they are won over by the Democrats with promises of union support, donations, patronage jobs and committee assignments.
Tornatore is a disgrace to conservatives everywhere and the REPUBLICAN Party. It is only right that he resign his position as vice-chair of the Bloomingdale Township Republicans immediately and get on his hands and knees begging former Speaker Madigan and Deb Conroy to accept him into the Democrat Party.
It's a shame that yet again that we discovered another fox in the hen house. That is why, to start winning races as Republicans that we must rid ourselves of political plants, sellouts, moderates and RINOs that don't fit our conservative narrative.
For far too long, many Republicans looked the other way or stayed silent, not wanting to shake the tree. I tell you what, it's time to shake things up, exposing the very ones that are contributing to the split in the party.
As for the separation in the party, there is only a good side and that's true conservativism. What that means is no contacts with Democrats. For who are we to preach about saving the babies and yet donate $1,000.00 like Tornatore did to a baby killing pro-abortion candidate? It doesn't make sense, right?
Starting now, it should be the responsibility of every Illinois Republican to raise the alarm to expose the RINOs and rid them from our party. Excommunicate them in disgrace.
I've said this two years ago when Republican leaders began inviting former Governor Rod Blagojavich to our GOP events and our Lincoln Dinners to be a VIP speaker. HE IS A DEMOCRAT! That's not allowed. Thankfully, after I raised the alarm, GOP leaders pushed him away. By the way, he's yet to condemn abortion or become a Republican. It was about money and support.
As Republicans, we have to make choices on our associations. I have plenty of screenshots of Republicans with a Democrat Vallas who recently attacked Governor Desantis and especially President Trump, demanding his incarceration.
So, why do Republicans support Democrats? Because they sold-out plain and simple. Are you for sale? Will you sell your soul to the Democrats for a bit of fame or a promise of wealth or a seat in government?
I would rather live and sleep hungry under a park bench or a cold wet alley than to sell out my values. Are we not Patriots or the beast that sold out the Spartans and King Leonidas in the movie the "300" In the movie, this deformed Spartan didn't get what he wanted, so he sold his soul to the Persian king, giving him secrets on how to defeat the Spartan army which led to Spartan defeat in battle? True story!
Let us be Patriots and not go down the road that Dicianni, Tornatore and Hart did. For how many more RINO sellouts will Dupage County Republicans produce?
We shall wait and see!
