State Of Israel Under Attack By Rockets And Invasion Of Hamas Terrorists

Today Hamas, a terrorist organization, very deceitfully launched an attack on the Nation of Israel reminiscent of the 911 attacks we had here in the United States in 2001.

This militant organization, based out of Gaza, launched an attack with thousands of rockets that rained on Israeli cities and villages. There were so many rockets that the nations “Iron Dome” air defense system could not protect them.

Next came an assault of thousands of armed militants, killing innocent civilians, including women and children. The world news media is now reporting a “sea of bodies” that are in the thousands. Many Israeli citizens were kidnapped and brought back to Gaza, being held for ransom.

As Americans and citizens of Illinois, we should condemn these attacks on Israel and its people. This was an attack on humanity and innocent lives. Isreal since its existence as a country 75 years ago suffered from terrorism daily since its creation, going back to the Old Testament, from the Babylonians to the Romans. As a Country they were attacked by many nations in 1948, 1965 and 1975 and they survived.

Every time Israel would rise in victory to defeat its enemies. Today's attacks, however horrific, will not be the end of the State of Israel. They are a nation diverse with nationalities from all over the globe. Israel is the center of the world and will continue to be a guiding light to the rest of every nation as a symbol of love, hope, and religion.

We stand now with Israel and her defense against any enemy that wants to attack innocent lives and that of young children. Our prayers are with the State of Israel and all of her citizens. Today, let us not forget these attacks and let us continue to support Israel as they recover from this devastating attack.

The first chapter of Israel has yet to be written because this country will continue to be strong and undefeated. Her history is a testimony of just that!
